Every project begins with a name. But some names carry history, land, and identity within them.

The International University of Cuanza (UNIC) held a nutrition fair as part of the celebrations for National Nutritionist Day. The initiative, organized by the Human Nutrition and Dietetics program in the School of Health Sciences, brought together approximately 200 participants on the institution’s campus, in an atmosphere marked by knowledge, interaction, and strong community engagement.

As part of the celebration of Nutritionist Day in Angola, we interviewed Dr. Olga Mbunga de Carvalho, a nutritionist and outgoing president of the Angolan Association of Nutritionists (AAN), to learn a little more about the work they do. 

MAHINE didn’t start completely from scratch. It actually grew out of the work done during the E+DIETing_LAB project, which focused on improving practical training in human nutrition and dietetics education.
